CASTLE INN, 38 Castle St, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB3 0RG

A 2-mile route around Cambridge including Castle Hill, Kettle's Yard and Great St. Mary's. Best done on foot but can be biked. The Castle Inn features in the "Lucky Dip" section of The Good Pub Guide 2008.

RED LION, Hernhill, Faversham, Kent, ME13 9JR

The Red Lion features in both The Good Pub Guide 2008 and AA Pub Guide. It was once a Wealdon Hall, built in 1364 and has an impressive mediaeval dining room. This walk called The Peasants' Last Revolt is another Faversham route offering a choice of start points from pubs in different villages.
